A POPULAR bridal boutique in Berkeley has recently undergone a complete refurbishment.

Veils of Berkeley was opened by Pippa Springer and Clare Palmer over 12 years ago, in a stunning restored Grade II listed building in the heart of Berkeley.

During that time, they have helping thousands of brides look and feel fabulous on their special day.

Due to Clare's early retirement in January, Pippa now has a new business partner, Abbey, who has brought with her lots of enthusiasm and sparkle.

"I am looking forward to this next exciting chapter in the Veils of Berkeley story and love working with Abbey," said Pippa.

Pippa said she feels very lucky to have the best job in the world.

"I love helping brides find their wedding dress," she said.

"It's such a special occasion and I feel honoured to be a part of the experience.

"It is really important to me that brides feel comfortable and listened to when choosing their dress.

"There have been so many special moments over the last 12 years; I have met so many wonderful brides, mums, bridesmaids, and mother of the grooms. Lots of them are now lifelong friends."

Becoming a co-owner of the shop was a dream come true for Abbey, who started working for there as a model in 2011.

"I joined Veils of Berkeley way back in 2011 when I started modelling for them," she said.

"Fast forward 11 years and I'm now the co-owner."

She added: "It is a truly magical job.

"I love making brides feel special and finding out about their special day.

"I'm now married and feel that I am able to relate to so many brides and have a real understanding of how nerve racking it can be finding your dream dress.

"I hope to make every bride's experience that extra bit special.

"It's all about having fun and being able to feel relaxed in your perfect dress."

The Veils of Berkeley team also includes wonderful manager Jo and seamstress Alice, who they describe as 'the best in Gloucestershire'.

As well as completely revamping the shop, Pippa and Abbey have unveiled lots of exciting new experiences as part of their offerings.

They have introduced their new Ivory Experience, which is proving very popular.

Not only do brides and their bridal party get the boutique and an experienced consultant to themselves for three hours, they also get complimentary bubbles, tea, coffee and cake. All this whilst browsing and trying on the extensive collection of dresses.

They also offer Blush appointments where you get the same warm welcome and expert advice.

And now all their brides can have their photos taken in front of the stunning flower wall in their dress.
