TWO 'aggressive' dogs which attacked two men in Bristol have been seized and a man has been arrested.
Yesterday (Sunday), two men told officers in Hartcliffe that they had been attacked and wounded by two dogs at about 10.50am.
Both men attended hospital for their injuries.
Avon and Somerset Police officers and dog handlers patrolled the nearby area in an attempt to locate the missing animals.
Describing the dogs as 'aggressive', officers put out a precautionary notice while the search was in operation, advising unaccompanied children to avoid the area.
The dogs believed to be those involved in the attack were later found and seized at an address in Bristol.
One man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A force spokesperson said: "We are grateful for the public’s patience while we have been dealing with this incident."
