A SHOP in Berkeley are holding a charity day today to raise money for terminally ill brides.

Veils of Berkeley are holding a raffle today as they celebrate the relaunch of their bridal boutique and funds raised will go to The Wedding Wishing Well Foundation, a charity that aims to give terminally ill brides and grooms, the wedding of their dreams.

Brides that buy a raffle ticket today will be in with a chance of winning £1,000 towards her wedding dress and the stores popular ivory experience fitting.

Veils of Berkeley owner Pippa said: "Due to me now having a new business partner, Abbey, we are relaunching our beautiful boutique today and from 11am until 4pm

"We are celebrating surviving as a business throughout Covid-19 and would love to give something back."

As well as holding the raffle to support the foundation, Pippa and Abbey will also be donating a number of wedding dresses to the charity,

Pippa added: "We have decided on the very worthy charity The Wedding Wishing Well Foundation that helps terminally ill brides and grooms have the wedding of their dreams.

"We want to raise as much money as we can for this amazing charity and hope to see as many new brides as possible today."
