THOUSANDS of classic cars, engines and machinery will roar into one of the biggest vehicle festivals in the country this weekend.
Gloucestershire Vintage & Country Extravaganza usually attracts over 20,000 visitors at South Cerney airfield and was previously cancelled in 2021 and 2020 due to the pandemic.
The 200-acre fiesta is a magnificent celebration of vintage transport including tractors, caravans, military vehicles, bicycles, buses, motorbikes and coaches.
There will also be a special procession of historic vehicles all of which were built in 1952 to commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Organiser Martyn Slater said: “The show will be packed full of exhibits, displays, entertainment and stalls to keep the whole family entertained. We pride ourselves on being one of the best value days out for all.
“The event also helps local and national charities’ with up to 30 represented on site raising money and awareness of their respective causes.
“We can’t wait to welcome you back to the show and let the good times roll.”
The show takes place from today, Friday, to Sunday from 10am to 5pm at South Cerney airfield in Northmoor Lane, South Cerney.
Friday tickets for adults are £7, juniors are £4 while on Saturday and Sunday tickets are £10 adults, £5 juniors.
