PINTS flowed in the sunshine during a glorious beer festival which supported a vital community hub.
Now in its 11th year, Millwood Cam Beer Festival returned on Saturday (August 6) raising money for Cam Sports Club and was attended by thousands.
Thanks to an army of volunteers, a range of 46 different beers from across the country were served as well as ciders, wine and prosecco with 1,200 people attending the fundraising event.
The most popular beer was Notorious by Bristol Beer Factory which sold out in just over two hours.
Musical entertainment was provided by Alan Tee, Martyn Bishop, The Matt Kirby Band, and Phat Gary’s Band who are all from the Cam area.
Neil Malpass, an organiser, said: “Fantastic weather made the 11th Millwood Cam Beer Fest a one to remember.
“A sold-out crowd made for a great atmosphere and a great buzz around the site.
“We are very much a local festival although we had people from Austria and Australia there.
“We are already planning for the 2023 festival and thank the people of Cam and Dursley for their great support.”
Funds raised from the event will go towards the running costs of the sports club with their men, ladies and youth teams which compete in tennis, football and cricket.
