A WOMAN from Yate has been given a whopping bill after throwing a cigarette on the ground outside a popular clothes shop in Bristol.
Claire Ray, of Blaisdon in Yate was ordered to pay over £400 for dropping a cigarette butt outside Judas Sinned Represents in Broadmead on March 2.
Portsmouth Magistrates found her guilty through the proved single justice procedure on October 14.
Ray must pay a £220 fine, a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £150.
The £404 balance has to be paid by November 11.
