A TALENTED singer from Chipping Sodbury has made it through the semi-finals of ITV hit show, The Voice.
Naomi Johnson, 26, is now set to compete in next week’s finals against three other singers.
This week each coach - Will.I.Am, Olly Murs, Anne-Marie and Tom Jones -had to choose one artist out of three on their team to make it through to the final.
During yesterday’s episode Naomi sang ‘Bang Bang’ by Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj wowing her judge Will.I.Am and beating her two teammates.
Naomi lived in Sodbury before moving to Bristol and was previously approached by ITV to audition for the show after being a wedding singer for the past six years.

After wowing judge Will.I.Am with her rendition of Mariah Careys, 'Emotions' Naomi beat over 20,000 other singers to sail into the next round.
At the callbacks a couple of months later Naomi said she was over the moon to face Will again alongside his guest judge David Guetta.
After giving more powerful performances Naomi beat a number of other singers to make the final 12.
And she is now set to battle it out in the finals in a bid to win the show.
She previously said: "I've been a wedding singer, and writing in musical projects for six years, I thought it could be time to do something exciting and different so when ITV contacted me I went for it.

"In my first blind audition in front of the four famous coaches, Will.I.Am, Anne-Marie, Tom Jones and Olly Murs I was convinced I wasn't getting through, as no one had turned for me throughout, but I hit my very last couple of 'whistle' notes - and bang, Will turned for me.
"To say I was shocked is an understatement.
"To make the top 12 in the callbacks was just unbelievable, what an amazing opportunity!
"I still haven't come to terms with it. I would never have had the confidence in the past to do this - being super overweight and shy.
"But I felt like I was now at a time in my life where I could give it a shot.
The Voice finals will show on ITV at 8pm on Saturday.
