The Heathers Nursing Home, located within walking distance of Chipping Sodbury, is looking for new staff.

Describing the role, the nursing home said: “Working as an integral part of the caring team, this role provides supervision and support to the caring team, acting as a resource for them.
“A large part of the role involves close communication and interpersonal skills with external professionals, residents, and relatives.
“You will be responsible for caring for residents, dispensing medicine, delegating tasks to staff, and supporting the management team with other duties as needed. All activities within the home will be conducted according to the professional conduct guidelines of the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
“Contribute to and assist the management of the nursing services within the Home by ensuring high standards of nursing care are maintained.
“Day and night shifts are available, including weekends & bank holidays, at £18 per hour with an enhancement for night shifts.”
The Heathers is also looking for a permanent kitchen assistant and cook.
