A SOUTH Gloucestershire cafe has received a new hygiene grade.
Food hygiene ratings reflect the hygiene standards which are found on the day of inspection by the local authority - they are not a guide to food quality.
Ratings are given on a score from 0-5, with five being the highest.
Central Pook, a cafe at Vine House, Northwick Road, Pilning, South Gloucestershire was given the maximum score after assessment on November 10, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
It means that of South Gloucestershire's 323 restaurants and cafes, 78 per cent (253) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
