BENNING Robert George Ian

Of Thornbury, formerly of Severn Beach.

Taken too soon, on 2nd December 2022, aged 42.

Passed away peacefully at Gloucester Royal Hospital on 20th December 2022 aged 92. Funeral service to be held at 2:30pm on Thursday 19th January 2023 at St George’s Church, Upper Cam.

BROWN Libby

RGN and Sister.

Passed peacefully away on Tuesday 27th December, aged 74 years. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by Tony and all her family and friends. Funeral Service to take place on Friday 27th January 2:00pm Westerleigh Crematorium, Waterside Chapel.

CLUCAS Anthony John (Tony)

Of Cam - passed away peacefully on December 22nd 2022 at Henlow Court, Dursley, following illness.

The family would like to thank the staff at Henlow and Tony’s close friends for their care and support.

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on 2nd January 2023 aged 66 years.

GRUDGINGS Jean

Died peacefully at Southmead Hospital on 1st January 2023 aged 94 years.

Wife of the late Peter and Mother of Steve, Matt, Ruth and Jack. Private burial at Quaker Graveyard Lower Hazel, Tuesday 24th January followed by a service celebrating her life at St James Church, Tytherington at 12.00.

HEATHMAN Ronald James Walter (Ron)

Passed away peacefully aged 94 on 27th December 2022 at Holly Oak Care Home, Dursley.

Husband of Lita, now at peace together. A great dad to Allan, Margaret and John, Father-in Law to Janice, Tony and Kate. Grandpa to his eight Grandchildren and to his eight Great-Grandchildren.

A Service of Thanksgiving for Ron’s life will be held at Dursley Tabernacle United Reformed Church on Thursday 26th January 2023 at 12 noon.

After a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease, Ann passed away on Thursday 5th January 2023 aged 79. A much loved Wife, Mother and Grandmother.

PURCELL John Phillip

In loving memory of John Phillip Purcell of Cam, Dursley who died peacefully on 26 December 2022 following a short illness.

Loving husband to Jean and father to Ian, Greg, Stella and Clive. Grandfather to Scott, Pip, Christopher, Freya, Hannah and Oli. Great grandfather to Sienna.

THOMPSON Sheila (nee Edgar)

Passed away peacefully at Southmead Hospital on 27th December 2022 aged 79 years.

Born and raised in Sunderland, schooled at St Anthony’s Convent School. After 12 years travelling as an air force wife, settled in Chipping Sodbury, Bristol.

A much-loved Wife and Mother, Sheila will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Ken, son John and his wife Clare, daughter Anne-Marie and her husband Duncan, and grand-children Henry, Oliver, Aidan, Liam anf Hannah.

Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday 24th January 2023 at Westerleigh Crematorium, Waterside Chapel.

Sadly passed away on Wednesday 28th December at The Hollies Care Home Dursley. Will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

WILKINS Kenneth

Passed peacefully away Saturday 31st December, aged 91 years. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all his family and friends. Reunited with his beloved Catherine.
