GOODCHILD Jane Mary

Jane passed away on 24th January 2023, aged 90.

Wife to John and sister to Elizabeth. Sadly missed by all the family. Jane’s funeral will be on the 27th February 2023 at St James the Great, Westerleigh at 13:30. All welcome.

JOTCHAM Vernon Harry

Passed away peacefully on 25th January, 2023. A private family burial will take place on Friday 17th February, followed by a Memorial Service at 12.00 at St Mary’s Church, Wotton-under-Edge.

The service will also remember Deirdre Jotcham who passed away in May 2021. Everyone who knew Vernon and Deirdre are very welcome to join the family at the Memorial service.

MARTIN Eileen Marjorie

Formerly of High Street, Cam.

Passed away peacefully on 1st February 2023 at Wisma Mulia Care Home aged 94. Funeral service to be held at Gloucester Crematorium on Thursday 23rd February 2023 at 11:30am.

PARKINSON Brian

SANSUM Colin Roger and Maurice Terrence Colin

passed away suddenly 24th December 2022, aged 75 years. Much loved Husband to Susan, devoted Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Maurice passed away suddenly 4th January 2023, aged 82 years.

Much loved Husband to the late Susan Heather, devoted Father and Grandfather. They will both be missed by their loving family and faming community. A joint funeral service will be held at St Andrews Church, Cromhall on 14th February at 11 am., followed by interment.

Family flowers only. Donations in memory of them both to Cromhall Church and Yellow Wellies.

SPRATT Michael George

Passed away on 1st February 2023 aged 87 years. Michael has gone to be with Jesus, he will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral is on Monday 27th February 2023 – 11am at Aust Evangelical Church.

TRESISE Peggy (Marguerite) Tresise

Passed away peacefully on Saturday 21st January. Peggy, and her beloved husband Hugh, moved to Dursley in 1960. She was a Geography teacher at Rednock School for many years and a faithful member of Dursley Tabernacle.

Above all she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother – who will be greatly missed.

A cremation service will be held at Westerleigh Crematorium, Yate on Saturday 18th February at 10.00. A Service of Thanksgiving, for the life of Peggy will be held at Dursley Tabernacle on Saturday 18th February at 12:00, followed by refreshments and an opportunity to share memories of Peggy, in the Tabernacle Church Hall. All who knew Peggy are welcome to attend.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. No dark clothes, please. WORLOCK Jillian Mary (Jill)

Passed away peacefully on 11th January. Loved and missed by all her family. Funeral service will be held at St John’s Church, Chipping Sodbury on 22nd February at 2pm, followed by committal service at Westerleigh.

Please do not feel the need to wear black, Jill was an avid fan of rugby, and the family would like to see this reflected in the congregation.
