A VILLAGE held a royal celebration fit for a King.
Families and neighbours joined forces in Arlingham on Sunday, May 7 celebrating the coronation with various games and entertainment on the cross in Passage Road.
Organised by the village pub The Red Lion, there was a tug of war as well as paella, pulled pork and live music.
Chef and landlord Mark Redwood said: “It was so fantastic to see a village community of all ages come together and celebrate such a special day.
“It couldn't have happened without the amazing work of local lady, Kelly Turner and villagers coming together to make the day happen.
“There was a villagers bring and share lunch to start the celebration. Then there was a tug of war on the cross, paella and pulled pork served out front and music into the evening.
“Just fantastic to get everyone together making special memories and celebrating the Coronation of King Charles.”
