A mystery winner in the Stroud District who has scooped a massive lottery prize has less than a week to step forward.
The top prize - which is £10K-a-month-for-30-years - still remains unclaimed almost a month after the ticket bought in the area matched all the numbers.
The total prize fund over three decades is just over £3.5 million.
The National Lottery has now announced that the winner has only until 5pm on Saturday, June 17 to claim their prize.
But, the winner can still scoop the cash even if they no longer have their Lotto ticket for the draw on Thursday, May 18.
The winning ticket matched the five main numbers and the Life Ball in the Set For Life draw.
The winning Set For Life numbers on that date were 10, 32, 36, 39, 43 and the Life Ball was 2.
Under its licence Camelot can pay prizes for lost, destroyed or stolen National Lottery tickets if the player submits a claim in writing within 30 days of the draw.
The player must provide sufficient evidence so Camelot can launch an investigation.
If the claim is thought to be valid, the prize can be dished out 180 days after the draw.
"You need to act fast..."
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery said: “Saturday, June 17 at 5pm is a key milestone for this incredible unclaimed prize.
“Although there are 180 days for any National Lottery winner to come forward with their winning ticket.
"During the first 30 days after the draw it’s still possible to make a claim in writing to Camelot if the ticket has been lost, destroyed or even eaten by the dog!
“There’s no need to panic if you haven’t got your ticket in hand, but you need to act fast and write to us before this Saturday."
Claims should include as much information as possible, including when and where the lost ticket was purchased. The claims will then be kept on file until 180 days after the draw.
If no one comes forward with the actual ticket during that time, the cash could be paid out if a claimant is verified to be the rightful ticket holder following a strict security process.
Anyone who has any queries or who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call 0333 234 5050 or email help@national-lottery.co.uk
The deadline to claim with the winning ticket is November 14, 2023.
