FESTIVAL organisers want to thank those who made Old Sodbury Village Day such a 'lovely get together'. 

On Saturday, residents were treated to live music, entertainment, food, drink, stalls at Old Sodbury football pitch for the festivities. 

"We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who made Old Sodbury Village Day happen and to all those who attended to make it such a lovely village get-together," said a spokesperson. 

"We want to thank all the villagers and volunteers who helped set up during the week, and the dozens who stayed behind at the end of the day to help clear things away, along with all the unseen tasks such as sorting the recycling, cleaning the toilets, litter picking the field and doing shifts on the bar.

"Your help is so valuable.

"Lastly, a massive thank you to everyone who attended, bought raffle tickets, supported our local traders and created a lovely atmosphere.

"See you again next year."
