FAMILY fun days are returning to Cam this summer.
Four jam-packed mornings organised for children at Jubilee Playing Field are taking place in August.
The free events, aimed at children of all ages, will include activities such as circus skills, outdoor cooking, wild play, giant bubbles, and spray painting.
Each morning will also feature free healthy snacks and food donated by Tesco and Stroud District Council.
Sessions have been organised by Cam Parish Council, community advocates World Jungle, and Draycott Mill-based nutritionists Kerry.
Ben Ward, from World Jungle, said: “Last time we had so much fun with families and children of all ages getting involved.
“Each week this summer we will have different activities from circus skills to outdoor cooking, wild play, giant bubbles, spray painting and more!”
Jacqui Bishop, from Kerry, said: “We are confident it will be a great way for young people to learn about healthy eating and to develop new skills as they take part in this exciting event.”
Jon Fulcher, chair of Cam Parish Council, said: “Thanks to collaborative relationships between the parish council and local businesses, we are able to offer regular events that benefit a wide cross-section of the community and also bring fun to Cam!”
Sessions will be held on Wednesdays, August 9, 16, 23, and 30 from 10am until 12.30pm.
Booking is not required.
