A CYCLIST has been left fighting for his life after being knocked off his bike.
The man was found in the middle of the road at Blackhorse Hill, Easter Compton, at around 1am this morning.
The cyclist suffered serious head injuries and remains in Frenchay Hospital fighting for his life.
The B4055 was closed for several hours while police examined the scene. It has now been reopened.
Police are looking for the vehicle involved and are appealing for anyone who has any information about the collision to call the force's collision investigation unit on 0845 4567000.
