A BEST-SELLING author was a real life apparition at Yate Library.
Novelist Barbara Erskine discussed her passion for history and ghosts at a meet and greet event last week.
Tickets to meet and talk to fantasy writer Barbara sold out weeks before the occasion.
Martin Burton, head of library, arts and information at South Gloucestershire Council, said: "It was great evening and we were privileged to have such a well-known author visiting South Gloucestershire libraries as part of our National Year of Reading programme."
Barbara talked about her latest novel The Warrior's Princess, read excerpts from her books and discussed her passion for haunted houses and ghostly goings on.
