POLICE have launched an appeal after a large group of teens were seen intimidating staff and customers outside a supermarket in Wotton. 

The incident happened outside the Co-operative Food in Long Street on Friday evening, December 8 between 9pm and 10pm. 

The youths were also seen ‘messing around’ with trolleys.

Dursley PCSO Debbie Hudman said in a community alert: “We're appealing for information following reports of a large group of youths in the rear car park of the Co-Op store in Wotton. 
 
“Unknown offenders have been seen to be messing around with the trolleys at the rear of the store and have been verbally intimidating to staff and store users. 

“Officers will be viewing CCTV and will be proactive in challenging this behaviour.
