THE Tesco superstore in Thornbury has been forced to close due to a power cut.
The store located in Midland Way temporarily shut its doors today, Tuesday, January 2.
It is understood the petrol station is also closed.
A Tesco Spokesperson said: “Our Thornbury Superstore is currently closed due to a power outage caused by heavy rainfall and localised flooding.
"Our maintenance team are working hard to ensure the store is able to reopen as soon as possible.
"We apologise for the inconvenience caused.”
