A THUNDERBOLT scored by a Dursley Town player is putting the club on the global map.
Aaron Nash's sublime bicycle kick has made a shortlist of just 23 goals on the People's Puskas awards - an award for the best or most beautiful goal scored in grassroots football across the world.
Voting has closed but the next round starts tomorrow, January 10.
Reminiscent of Wayne Rooney's famous goal in the Manchester derby, Nash's strike is certain to be among the top 16 goals.
These sixteen goals will then according to ESPN go through a series of polls on Veo's social media channels to select a winner by the end of the month.
Some of these goals are ridiculous 🔥

Dursley Town first team manager Karl Nash said: "It was a wonder strike, something like that happens once in a blue moon.
"It was fantastic to witness it live - as soon as I saw Aaron leave the ground, I knew what was coming and bang it flew in to the top corner.
"Aaron is a local Dursley lad, he’s well known so getting him to top spot would be fantastic,
"Putting little old Dursley Town FC on the map is an incredible achievement in itself."
