THE Dursley Dozen returned over the weekend.
Almost 500 runners took part in the gruelling 12 mile race on Sunday which is now in its 34th year.
The multi-terrain route included hillsides, roads, woodland, open country, mud, and solid rock with stunning views of the Severn estuary.
Sam Moppett finished in first with a time of 1 hour 26 minutes and 33 seconds.

- Caroline McAleese 1:38:53 (Vegan Runners UK)
- Hannah Large 1:44:46 (Westbury Harriers)
- Kath Sutherland 1:51:27
