A NEW exhibition has been opened exploring the history of groups and individuals who have chosen to make a home in Dursley.
The exhibition - which is running until Saturday, May 25 at Dursley Heritage Centre - informs visitors about migration in the area since the beginning of the 20th century.
Organisers say among the groups featured include World War One refugees from Belgium, Polish people who settled in the UK following World War Two, members of the Windrush Generation who found work at Lister’s.
The display also includes families who have been displaced by the current conflict in Ukraine.
An organiser added: “Come and explore the lives and experiences of people who have chosen to make a home in Dursley and helped to build our community since the beginning of the 20th Century.”
The Heritage Centre is open Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays between 10am to 12pm.
