POLICE have issued a warning about suspicious door-to-door salesmen in the area.
Officers attended The Street, North Nibley on Friday afternoon, March 1 following reports of a male knocking on doors selling cleaning supplies from a bag.
Meanwhile, police received a similar report of another salesman in the Wotton area who they say was “very pushy”.
According to a community alert, both males were asked to leave the area after police conducted "relevant checks".
The alert reads: “While we work to deal with the incident here is some crime prevention advice to keep you safe.
“Please report any such activity in your area, remember that you do not have to open your door.
“If you or someone you know has been a victim of a doorstep salesperson then please report this.”
