TWO cars in Wotton have recently been seized by police.
Officers say the two vehicles - which were parked on the same road - were taken over the weekend for having no insurance.
A spokesperson said in a statement on social media, it was part of Operation Tutelage and involved SC Davis, PC Hedger and PC Jones from Stroud Neighbourhood Policing Team.
More than 360 abandoned vehicles were reported in the district during the last financial year, according to the latest figures.
A recent report by Stroud District Council showed a 1.86 per cent decrease in the number of reports compared to 2021/22.
