A MAN from a village near Wotton has been hit with a fine after he was caught speeding.
Christopher Preston, aged 66, was caught breaking the 40mph limit on the B4058 New Road in Wotton while driving a Hyundai Tucson on October 26, 2022.
The case was heard at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Tuesday, March 19.
Preston, of Orchard Close, Charfield, was fined £220 and ordered to pay £88 for victim services plus £90 in costs - a total of £398.
Three points were also added to his licence.
