DRIVERS are being warned of delays following a multi-vehicle M5 crash in South Gloucestershire this afternoon.
National Highways say currently three of four lanes are closed on the M5 between junction 17 (Easter Compton) and junction 16 (Bristol/ Almondsbury).
A spokesperson from Avon and Somerset Police said: “Recovery work is being carried out at the scene of a collision on the M5 northbound between J17-16 this afternoon.
“National Highways are making motorists aware of delays in the area as a result.”
It is understood there are currently 45 minutes of delays and five miles congestion on approach.
