A NEW restaurant and gift shop has recently opened at Berkeley Castle.
The area - known as the Kitchen Garden - is located in the castle's newly renovated walled garden offering fresh, seasonal dishes with a modern twist.
Organisers say the new space will also host special events and activities like farmers markets and community events.
General manager Bethany Edmondson said: "We're thrilled to utilise Berkeley Castle's historic walled garden to launch a community-focused dining destination.
"Our dishes celebrate the bounty of the season with fun, flavourful dishes.
“The relaxed atmosphere and emphasis on local providers make The Kitchen Garden Restaurant perfectly suited for everything from family meals to special events."
Chef Rob said: “We are thrilled to open The Kitchen Garden and look forward to becoming a gathering place where people can connect over delicious, locally sourced food and drink.”
The new space - which is also dog-friendly - officially opened on Sunday, March 24.
It is open Saturday to Wednesday from 10am to 4:30pm.
