POLICE have launched an appeal after vandals damaged a football stand in Berkeley last weekend.
The seating was ripped off and offensive markings were left behind at the spectator stand in Canon Park, officers say.
It is believed the incident took place either on Friday, April 12 or Saturday, April 13.
The field at Canon Park Recreational Facility is a public open space managed by Berkeley Town Council and is home to Berkeley Football Club.

The alert reads: “This has understandably caused upset to the football club and kind people who maintain the location.
“We have information regarding suspects, however, if you can assist with ongoing enquiries, please contact PCSO Mike Trebble by the usual means.”
Meanwhile, a spokesperson from the town council says its "concerned" about the incident and patrols will be increased around the area.
The council spokesperson said: "The town council are concerned about recent anti-social behaviour in the Football Stand at Canon Park as this facility in is constant use by Berkeley Town Football Club.
"Patrols will be stepped up around this area and CCTV is in use.
"We have a thriving Youth Club run by Krunch at Canon Park pavilion on Mondays.
"This takes place for school years 5 to 7 between 6pm to 7.30pm and school years 8 to 11 between 7.45pm to 9pm. All are welcome."
