Dursley Pride is set to return in 2024 and will be "bigger and better" than last year, according to organisers.
The annual event - which is now in its third year - is due to return on Monday, August 26.
Dozens of crowds joined in celebrations last year with live music, brilliant performers, food, stalls and face painting.
The parade began at Rednock School and was led by a rainbow-coloured fire engine plus a multi-coloured trailer with a speaker blasting gay anthems though the town centre.
As part of this year’s celebrations a new pre-pride event and after party will also be taking place.
A pre-event including local traders and businesses will take place in the town on Saturday, August 24.
The main pride event will include the parade which will start at the bus station and finish at the War Memorial Recreation Ground, known as the Rec, where celebrations will begin.
Meanwhile, a ticketed 18+ after party will take place at the Chantry Centre on Saturday, September 7.
A GoFundMe fundraising page has now been set up by organisers to support this year’s event.
Co-chair and founder Tyler White said: “Dursley Pride has only been up and running for two years, this year we are having our third pride.
“We want Dursley Pride 2024 to be bigger and better than before.
“We want to create a bigger event and that means we may be changing venues and also having an after party.
“So to make Dursley Pride 2024 bigger we need to do more fundraising so that we can have more performers and things happening at Dursley Pride and to have an amazing after party.
“The committee all have their thinking caps on and are coming up with more ideas of what Dursley Pride 2024 can offer and look like.
“We hope Dursley Pride 2024 will be amazing. But we need your help to get there.
“We know we are only small but we want to make a big impact on our community.
"Dursley, Cam, Uley, Slimbridge and Coaley we want to give you all a space where you can be you, share your pride in being who you are.
“As Dursley Pride is covering these small towns and villages we need to help educate people on inclusiveness and diversity and show that anyone should be accepted for who they want to be.
“We understand that the world right now isn't at its best and that's why we need to be out there, loud and proud on our day.
“If you are able to give anything even a small amount that would be amazing, or if you can only share this that would be amazing.”
