David was a staff photographer ad runs the brilliant Gazette Pictures From the Past Facebook group where he shares his wonderful potfolio of photographs from his time at the Gazette.
There is a lovely picture of two girls playing leap frog on the banks of the River Severn at Purton.
Star Tommy Steele brought his personality to people at the Camp of the SS Vindicratix.
