A NEW BUSINESS has arrived at the Yate Shopping Centre.
”Buy the furniture you love from the people that love furniture” is how Yate Shopping Centre’s newest tenant promotes itself.
Opening this week in 10 South Walk, Prime Appliances offers a wide selection of pre-loved and goods ranging from washing machines to wardrobes and sofas to fridge freezers and also buys such quality used items.
Andrew Lowrey, shopping centre manager, said: “A new tenant is always welcome news and we wish Bhavin and his team at Prime Appliances the best of luck.
"Sustainability and the recycling of quality pre-loved goods is an important part of the country’s economy and we are pleased to add such an outlet to the centre’s portfolio.”
Bhavin & Dominik Patel, co-owners of Prime Appliances view the opening of a shop, their first, as a major step forward in development of the business: “We started Prime Appliances as a family-run online business from a garage twelve months ago, moving to a warehouse in Bedminster and now, with the addition of the Yate shop, are exposed to high street footfall.
“Sustainability is a key part of our business and by selling both new and quality pre-loved items we are able to enable customers to maximise their budgets and to ensure quality items are kept in circulation for their usable lifetime.”
The new store in Yate is open from 10am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 11am to 4pm on Sundays.
Prime Appliances’ Bedminster warehouse store is located at Unit 12, Redford Trading Estate, Novers Hill and the business employs five staff across both sites.
