FIREFIGHTERS in Yate are taking part in a charity car wash next weekend.
Members of the crew at Yate Fire Station will be cleaning vehicles on Saturday, June 1.
The event will raise money for two charities - the Fire Fighters Charity and Search And Rescue Assistance In Disasters.
An organiser said: “We’re looking forward to hosting another charity car here in Yate to benefit such important causes.
“Come along and see us on the day, get your car cleaned and help us make a real difference!”
SARAID is a British search and rescue charity that provides humanitarian assistance around the world in response to large scale disasters.
Meanwhile, the Fire Fighters Charity provides support services and treatment to more than 13,500 serving and retired members of staff from UK fire and rescue services.
The fundraiser will take place from 10am to 4pm.
Donations will be collected in cash and by card on the day.
