EVERYONE likes a weird shaped vegetables like this spectacular carrot grown by Fred Hatch of Cam.
Former Gazette photographer David Ireland captured the glorious vegetable for posterity and shared the image on his Facebook page David Ireland's Gazette Pictures from the past.
David also captured the time when Sharpness Docks froze in the 1960s as well as a dramatic lorry fire on the M5 near Cam.
He also captured work being carried out on the tunnel between Melksham and Glamorgan in 1972.
