A TEENAGER from Dursley who drove while over the alcohol limit has been banned from the roads.
Henry Gambie, aged 19, of Kingshill Park, Dursley, pleaded guilty to driving a Nissan while over the limit in Wotton Road, Charfield on Saturday, May 4.
He had 49mcgs of alcohol on his breath - the legal limit is 35mcgs.
He was banned for 13 months during the hearing at Cheltenham Magistrates Court.
Gambie was fined £180, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a £72 victim services surcharge - a total of £337.
The magistrates told him that he can reduce the length of his ban by 99 days if he successfully completes an approved driving course at his own expense by January 10 next year.
