A MAN from Cam who admitted making nine indecent images of a child has been sentenced.
Adrian Mundy, aged 65, of Manor Avenue, Cam, also had his Samsung mobile phone confiscated from him by Cheltenham Magistrates at a hearing on Tuesday, May 28.
Mundy pleaded guilty to making the nine Category C images of a child between March 21 2022 and May 12 last year in Dursley.
Mundy was placed on an 18 month community order and a five year sexual harm prevention order.
As part of his community order sentence he must participate in any activity required by his supervising responsible officer for up to 30 days.
He was also fined £92 and ordered to register at Stroud police station as a sex offender for five years.
He must not use any device capable of accessing the internet or sending/receiving electronic communications unless it has the capacity to retain and display the history of internet use and is set to do so at all times.
He must also make the device available on request for inspection by anyone authorised to do so by the Chief Constable.
He is barred from deleting internet history or any files which record internet or file browsing history as well as from using any software which prevents an internet enabled device from retaining and/or displaying the history.
And he must not use any false Internet Protocol address.
