A FAMILY rural crime day is due to take place in Berkeley this weekend.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet police horses and dogs and there will also be a small funfair for families.
Organisers say the event is aimed at landowners, the farming community and those who need advice on protecting rural, wildlife and heritage spaces.
The event is due to take place on Saturday, June 8 at The Sabrina Centre in Gloucestershire Science and Technology Park.
A spokesperson from Gloucestershire Police said: “The Rural, Wildlife and Heritage Crime Team warmly invites you, as a resident of our rural areas, to our Family Rural Crime Day!
They added: “This is not a force open day - it is an event for landowners, the farming community and those who need advice on protecting our rural, wildlife and heritage spaces.
There will also be more information and special offers about crime prevention products VIN CHIP and AX Track.
The event will take place from 10am to 3pm.
There is a maximum capacity of 400.
