Old Sodbury Village Day 2024 was a huge hit with villagers getting together for a celebration.

The Village Day Committee planned and run the event on Saturday June 15 at Old Sodbury Football Pitch.

Old Sodbury FC, John Edgar, Andy Roach and Phil Russell provided the fields, clubhouse and trailer for the stage.

Trevor at Smart Packaging Ltd sponsored the event, and Redcliffe Homes made a donation..

Rock Choir and choirs led by Alex Hawker, The Retreats, Street Cred, the children of Old Sodbury Primary School and Zumba with Irmina entertained the crowd, and The Dog Inn Old Sodbury hosted a great after-party.

DJ Bridgee'o's Entertainments for entertaining the children, along with Friends of Old Sodbury School and Laura at Wow Faces.

Old Sodbury Lamb, The One Pizza Van, Old Sodbury W.I, Holy Crepe, Marshfield Mobile Ice Cream and Dave with all the bar volunteers for the food and drink, along with all the stalls.

All the villagers and volunteers who helped set up during the week, and the dozens who stayed behind at the end of the day to help clear things away, along with all the unseen tasks such as sorting the recycling, cleaning the toilets, litter picking the field and doing shifts on the bar.
