MEMBERS of the public in Thornbury are being invited to meet their councillors for a chat as part of ongoing monthly sessions.
Councillors from Thornbury Town Council will be at the event held almost every month in the Town Hall on the High Street.
Sessions are due to be held on the last Saturday of the month (with the exception of August and December) to coincide with the market day.
They will take place from 10am to 12.30pm.
The schedule of sessions includes:
- 29th June 2024
- 27th July 2024
- 28th September 2024
- 26th October 2024
- 30th November 2024
- 25th January 2025
- 22nd February 2025
- 29th March 2025
- 26th April 2025
An organiser said: “This is an opportunity to meet your local elected representatives and to let them know your thoughts, concerns and hopes for the town, to help make town council decision making representative of the community.
“The regular ‘Meet Your Councillor’ sessions will be held on the last Saturday of the month (with the exception of August and December) to coincide with market day.
“Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available. Please do call in!”
