A MAN from Thornbury faces a huge court bill for failing to identify the driver of a vehicle.
Mathew Rix, aged 45, of Elizabeth Close, Thornbury failed to give police the identity of a BMW driver.
It was alleged the driver was caught speeding on the M5 on October 23 last year.
Rix pleaded guilty via the single justice procedure at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Tuesday, June 4.
He was fined £253, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £101 plus £90 in costs - a total of £444.
He was also given three points on his licence.
