RESIDENTS will be able to explore Yate's past in a series of upcoming events.
From between July 11 and August 31 at Yate Heritage Centre you learn about the early years of the Yate parish.
There will be archaeology from the Mesolithic period to Saxon times.
On Saturday, July 13 there will be Bronze age sword making, Iron age pottery demonstrations, Bronze Age living history plus Roman and Saxon hands-on activities.
