THE OLD CROWN in Uley has received a top food hygiene grade.
The pub was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on Wednesday, June 5 the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
Hygiene ratings are scored from 0-5, with five being the highest.
Food hygiene ratings reflect the hygiene standards which are found on the day of inspection by the local authority - they are not a guide to food quality.
Hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety are the three categories.
