POLICE have issued an appeal after a man was injured during an incident in Thornbury.
Emergency services attended Farmers Walk after a man suffered injuries to his face and body at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, July 2.
He was taken to hospital and has since been discharged to recover at home.
However, Avon and Somerset Police say they are currently “not able to clarify” how the man was injured, or if there was any third-party involvement.
An investigation has been launched.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to attend the Farmers Walk area of Thornbury at about 8.30pm on Tuesday (July 2) after a man suffered injuries to his face and body.
“The man was treated at hospital and has since been discharged to recover at home.
“We’ve carried out house-to-house enquiries and reviewed available CCTV and doorbell footage, but at this time we’re not able to clarify how the man was injured, or if there was any third-party involvement.
“If anyone has information which would help this investigation, and haven’t yet spoken with the police, please call us on 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5224171846.”
