PLANS have been put forward to open a new children’s care home in the Yate area.
A change of use application was recently submitted to South Gloucestershire Council to open the new site in Church Road, Frampton Cotterell.
Plans include changing the property from a residential property (class C3) into a three-bedroom ‘residential institution’ (class C2).
According to the application, if approved, it is believed five new full-time jobs would be created.
The site would operate as a children’s home 24/7 everyday including bank holidays.
The application does not include who the applicant is, but the agent is named as Reas Group Ltd.
