ONE of Dursley's biggest events is due to take place this Saturday.
The much-loved Dursley Summer Festival will include live music, market stalls, a farmer's market, a doodle wall and an art-themed shop window competition.
There will also be a range of performances from Morris Dancers, Dursley male voice choir, Rednock Swing Band and young dancers from Amy Addle’s dance group.
Members of the public will also be able to get up close to police vehicles, classic cars and Pedersen bikes.
Meanwhile, a pop-up creative workshop will take place at The Engine located at the old Oxfam charity shop.
Four local artists will be helping members of the public create a giant 3D version of the view of Cam Peak using inspiration from Van Gogh.
There will also be a red double decker bus which will be doing rides between the bus station and to Rednock School.
As well as all of this, the Heritage Centre will also be open which currently has an exhibition about Shakespeare's links to the town.
The town’s festival event will take place from 9am to 2pm.
