A WELL-KNOWN endurance event is returning to the area, promising to provide “its toughest experience yet”.

Tough Mudder is returning to the Badminton Estate for its South West outing on August 10, with participants set to face a gruelling challenge with a series of demanding obstacles.

The event will include a 15km course with 20+ obstacles and a 5km course with 12+ obstacles, as well as the one-mile Lidl Mudder for children.

The 15km course promises to push participants to their limits, with features from steep climbs to electrifying challenges forming part of the route.

The 5km course, meanwhile, offers a challenging experience for participants of all fitness levels, with obstacles that demand a mixture of agility and stamina.

For kids, the Lidl Mudder provides an opportunity to develop teamwork, resilience and a taste for adventure.

“Ditch any preconceived notions of an easy ride through our supposedly flattest course of the season,” a spokesperson for Tough Mudder said.

“Tough Mudder South West is a pulse-racing, fear-inducing battle, where every obstacle is a new opportunity to prove you’re built for the challenge ahead.

“Brace yourself for surprises, towering walls, electrifying sprints and more mud than Glastonbury.”
