A DELIGHTED schoolboy was knocked for six when he got to meet two cricket stars.
Sebi Winfield, aged eight and from Cambridge, recently interviewed English cricketers James Anderson and Jack Leach at Lord's Cricket Ground.
The interview - which took place in a car - was part of an online video series by England Cricket’s partner cinch, an online used car website.
During the video, Sebi asks the pair who has the worst nickname, rating James’s old haircuts and their favourite road trip songs.
At one point Sebi even admits that he thinks Jack’s head looks like a nut.
Sebi, who goes to Slimbridge Primary, previously starred in a festive advert for sports retailer Decathlon last year which was filmed in Slovenia.
Sebi said: “It was amazing because I know they're famous and they were really nice people. I feel so proud.
Asked what the best bit about filming was, Sebi said: “Getting the opportunity to go to Lords Cricket Ground because that is where it was filmed.
“Meeting the cricketers and getting given an England cricket training top.
“And it was really fun asking the questions and hearing their answers.”
Proud mum Tori said: “Sebi was put forward for the job by his agent, R-ten kids.
“He had to do a self tape where he sat in the car and asked a list of provided questions and had to give feedback to the answers given.
“About two weeks later we were contacted and asked if we could go to London to meet the casting director.
“We went along with other kids who were seen individually and Sebi had to do a similar thing to the original tape but in person.
“We were then told he had the job when we were on holiday in Portugal.”
Anderson is widely regarded as one of the greatest bowlers in the history of the sport, he recently retired from international cricket on July 12.
The interview took place on June 4.
