SHOE Zone is due to officially open its expanded new store in Yate this weekend. 

The footwear retailer is planning to launch the larger shop on Saturday, August 10 located at 17-19 South Walk in Yate Shopping Centre. 

The business has expanded into the former FJ Hinds jewellers’ shop - doubling the size of its footprint.

Work started on the conversion at the beginning of July.

Anthony Smith, Shoe Zone chief executive said: “It’s exciting to be opening our new store in Yate, which will see the launch of new brands for customers to enjoy.

"We look forward to welcoming customers into our new store and hope they enjoy the new variety of products available.” 

Store manager Fiona Davey says they are currently seeking a new member of staff to fill a vacant part-time role.
