A 77-YEAR-OLD Dursley man has admitted offences relating to indecent images of children.
David Sharpe, of Little Quillet Court, Cam, Dursley, has pleaded guilty to three charges - one of which relates to images at the most serious level.
Sharpe has indicated guilty pleas to three charges of making indecent photographs of a child which are all dated on July 18, 2023
The charges are making three category A images of a child (the most serious category), four category B images and 31 category C images.
Sharpe indicated guilty pleas to each charge at a hearing on July 16 and will be sentenced at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Monday.
Making indecent images has a wide definition in law and can include opening an email attachment containing such an image, downloading an image from a website or receiving an image via social media, even if unsolicited.
