FIREFIGHTERS responded to a garage fire in the area over the weekend.
Crews dealt with the blaze in Matford Close, Winterbourne at around 5.30pm on Sunday, August 18.
A spokesperson from Avon Fire and Rescue said no one was injured during the incident.
The spokesperson said: “Crews from Yate, Patchway and Kingswood were called at 5.29pm to reports of a garage fire in Matford Close, Winterbourne.
“On arrival, firefighters found a garage well alight and used two high pressure hose reels and one 45mm covering jet to extinguish the blaze.
“Two firefighters wore breathing apparatus for safety.
“There were fortunately no casualties.
“The cause of the fire has been undetermined.”
