A VILLAGE hall car park has been resurfaced thanks to the help of a local quarry.
Tytherington quarry recently donated 40 tonnes of asphalt to resurface the car park at Tytherington village hall.
The village hall hosts a wide range of community events including drama groups, quiz nights and meetings as well as private functions.
Richard Williams, chair of Tytherington village hall committee said: “We’re very grateful to Tytherington quarry for their donation and for the hard work of everyone involved in the project.
“The new car park surface is a fantastic upgrade and will benefit all visitors to the village hall.”
James Brown, Unit Manager at Tytherington quarry said: “We are delighted to be able to help with this project, and we hope it will serve the community for many years to come.”
